On the rainy days after I finish my daiy projects, I am drawn back to CNC work. Organizing my physical space with gridfinity has been a major draw for me, but the time spent and plastic used in 3d printing is a large turnoff. I am finding myself returning to the idea of using my CNC addon again. I can use old scrap cuts of wood to do the machining work, and with less than half the time I could be machining out custom Gridfinity components to line my desk drawers, toolboxes, and more. Plus, it would be nice to practice on aluminum and small time steel cuts. Although, the steel may take some time. It would be a great opportunity to do some wonderful 3d carving to accentuate what I already own.
I am looking forward to seeing what all I can do after I do the prep work for the addon.
